My career in medical education/research dates back to April 1993 as a graduate/research assistant with the toxicology unit of the department of Pharmacology, College of Medicine, and University of Lagos and presently at Nottingham Trent University, the UK. I worked as a lecturer/researcher in 2 (two) Nigerian Universities’ College of Medicine for 13 years before coming to the UK.
While in Nigeria, I undertook research on topical issues, contributed to national debate on issues that touch on the health of the people.
The multi-disciplinary nature of my research involvement, as evident in my publications, remains the propelling force behind my continuing quest for exposure and acquisitions of updated skills in drug research and education. Therefore, my commitment is to make a mark in this area of medicine and be part of a team, which will be beneficial and actualise cost-effective dissemination of drug informatics.
